Loflin Yard — Downtown

Loflin Yard is located at the southern end of downtown. While this establishment is technically a bar, restaurant, and event space, it seems more like an oasis in the heart of downtown.

The space is broken up into multiple areas with three dog-friendly sections. The "backyard" is a great spot to hang out with a bottle of wine and watch the trains go by with your pup. The "front yard" is a community green space for gathering. It is a laid-back setting for food and cocktails. And the "Loflin Falls" space is connected to the "Safe House," which is their indoor dining area. This building even has a deck that overlooks the beautiful Loflin Falls.

Regardless of which section you bring your pup to, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Aldo's Pizza Pies — Downtown

Aldo's Pizza Pies is great for grabbing a slice of New York-style pizza with your furry best friend. While both locations of this restaurant are great, the downtown spot seems a bit more dog-friendly. It could be because it's one of the larger covered patios downtown.

Along with delicious foldable pizza, you can find four-dollar drafts and half-price apps from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overall, it's an excellent place for you and your pup to get out on the town with friends.

Catherine & Mary's — Downtown

Situated in the heart of downtown Memphis, Catherine & Mary's is an Italian-inspired eatery known for its warm hospitality and delectable cuisine. Bring your pup along to their pet-friendly patio and indulge in homemade pasta dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and mouthwatering desserts.

Lost Pizza Co. — Midtown

If you don't want to head downtown, there is another place to grab a pizza pie with your pup. You can find it in Midtown Memphis at Lost Pizza Co. Out front, you'll find a large covered patio and a welcoming staff for you and your canine family member. Lost Pizza Co. is open until 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and open until 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday.

This pizza business was a dream come true for a couple of college roommates, and it has a genuine, one-of-a-kind experience. It has been so successful that they are now franchising Lost Pizza Co. It was voted the best pizza in its original city, Mississippi, seven years in a row. And now franchise owners have brought this Mississippi specialty to Memphis, TN.

Central BBQ — Midtown

Grab a plate of barbecue at a Memphis staple called Central BBQ. Highly touted as one of the best barbecue places in the entire city, you will be satisfied by Central BBQ. On Central Avenue, you'll find one of their locations that offer an outdoor covered—and seasonally enclosed—patio that is perfect for you and your dog to enjoy together.

You can call ahead or order at their to-go window. If you are still determining what you want, the staff all have their favorites and seem happy to share them. Not only are the meats great—especially the pulled pork—but the sides are equally fantastic. If you love good barbecue beans, they are a must-have on your visit to Central BBQ.

Grind City Brewing Company — Washington Park

Grind City Brewing Company is located near Washington Park, near the mighty Mississippi River. Taking on the grit and grind of the hometown Memphis Grizzlies, this brewery has the vibe that makes you want to come to hang out after work.

Located just north of downtown, Grind City Brewing Company is the perfect spot for people—and canines—to gather after a long day of work. With a large grassy area that often has cornhole boards and picnic tables, your pup will love joining you.

There isn't anything better than your pup, your pals, and a pint. Grind City Brewing Company takes pride in providing a great space where you can enjoy all of that.

Wiseacre Brewing Co. — Binghampton

From one brewery to another. Wiseacre Brewing Co. on Broad Avenue is another location for you and your dog to hang out with your friends—including the furry ones! Wiseacre Brewing Co. founders spent nearly a decade doing their best to perfect the brewing process before they launched in Memphis. They spent time learning all over the United States, France, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

There are now two locations of Wiseacre Brewing Co., one downtown and one in the Binghampton area. The one on Broad Avenue is a little better for your pup because dogs are actually allowed in the taproom with you. Either way, there is plenty of space for you and your dog to grab a pint and hang out at both locations.
