Although dogs must remain on a leash, they are welcome to join you throughout the park.

This dog-friendly park is located on the north side of Arlington and is a public city park. You can enjoy the open lawn spaces, wooded areas, “400 species of wildlife, 193 species of birds, and 28 species of trees.” River Legacy Park also provides practice fields, a playground, exercise stations, grills, and even a 12,000-square-foot Living Science Center.

Tails ‘N Trails Dog Park is located on the south side of Arlington, just southeast of Fort Worth. This 5.7-acre off-leash dog park has plenty of open green space for dogs to run and play, plus plenty of wooded areas and large shade trees.

Tails ‘N Trails Dog Park is fully fenced-in, always clean and well-maintained, and provides waste stations, water stations, and even a sidewalk where you can take your pup for a stroll. In addition to these great canine amenities, humans will enjoy the hiking and biking trails, natural areas, and plenty of bench seating throughout the park.

Bowman Springs Park is a delightful retreat for dog owners looking to enjoy the great outdoors with their furry friends. Nestled along the shores of Lake Arlington, this park offers a spacious area where dogs can play and socialize. The scenic views of the lake provide a serene backdrop while you and your pup explore the trails. Rush Creek Dog Park — 1900 Valleywood Dr, Arlington, TX 76013

Rush Creek Dog Park is a 4.8-acre off-leash dog park that is fully fenced-in with separate areas for small and large dogs to play with pups their own size. This dog park offers a double-gated entry, “benches, shaded areas, water fountains, two parking lots, and lighting” for your dog to play late into the evening or early in the morning.

This free dog park also provides “drinking water fountains for humans and dogs, dog bone-shaped benches with shade cover, climbing boulders,” grass and mulch for the ground covering, a wooded area across the back, and sporadic trees throughout the dog park areas.

Cravens Park — 400 Cravens Park Dr, Arlington, TX 76018

Cravens Park is an 86.2-acre dog-friendly community park on the south side of Arlington. Your dog must remain on a leash, but they can walk around with you throughout this large park.

Cravens Park offers numerous amenities for the whole family, like basketball courts, a 0.77-mile hiking and biking trail, a pond, fishing areas, grills, six baseball fields, concessions stands, natural areas, picnic areas, a children’s playground, two tennis courts, two volleyball courts, restrooms, and a large picnic pavilion. What more could you ask for? There’s something here for everyone in your family to enjoy!

Veterans Park — 3600 W Arkansas Ln, Arlington, TX 76016

Veterans Park honors those who have served with its peaceful setting and well-maintained grounds. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the walking trails and in the open spaces. The park features a disc golf course and a beautiful pond, which adds to the tranquil atmosphere. Commemorative markers and military hardware displays provide points of interest during your visit. Keep your pet leashed to respect other park visitors and the serene environment.

Central Bark Dog Park — 2222 W Warrior Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Central Bark Dog Park is a 3-acre off-leash dog park located just north of the Prairie Paws Adoption Center in the Grand Prairie area. There are three separate, fully fenced-in areas for dogs to run and play. One area is for small dogs, one is for large dogs, and one is left open to rotate between the sections to help preserve the ground.

Each of these sections provides benches, water stations, waste stations, shade structures, and a 40-space parking lot. Each dog section also includes grassy areas, trees, and sandstone boulders for dogs to jump and climb on.

Irving Dog Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park with separate dog play areas for small and large dogs. This dog park provides benches for the humans, water fountains for both humans and canines, waste stations, shaded shelters, shade trees, boulders for dogs to jump and climb on, plenty of open grass space, as well as some gravel space, and even WiFi hotspots, so you can use the internet on your phone while your pup runs off their extra energy.

Euless Dog Park at Village of Bear Creek Park — 1951 Bear Creek Pkwy, Euless, TX 76039

Euless Dog Park at Villages of Bear Creek Park is a 3-acre fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park with a large dog area, small dog area, two dog wash stations, four tables, two water fountains, shaded areas, waste stations, double-gated entries, and multiple play features like boulders, tunnels, and climbing stairs. The ground covering is mostly green grass with a bit of sand and dirt.

The Villages of Bear Creek Park as a whole is 40 acres in size and offers numerous features like water fountains, exercise stations, port-o-lets, picnic pavilions, athletic fields, 2.2 miles of trails, an amphitheater, and nine pet stations.

City of Bedford Bark Park — 3200 Meadow Park Dr, Bedford, TX 76021

The City of Bedford Bark Park is located within the Meadow Park Athletic Complex. This dog park is fully fenced-in with separate off-leash for small and large dogs to play with pups of their own size. You’ll also find amenities here like covered picnic tables, water fountains, canine agility equipment, doggy waste stations, and a mixture of ground, sand, and dirt for the ground covering. This dog park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, but it’s closed every Wednesday morning until noon for maintenance.
