Canine Courtyard Bark Park Omaha is "Omaha's newest off-leash Dog Park! Located centrally in Aksarben Village at 67th & Shirley Streets." This park is fully fenced-in with two separate sections for small and large dogs. There are waste stations provided and water bowls with water hoses. Plus plenty of benches to sit and relax on.

Chalco Hills Recreation Area — 8901 S 154th St, Omaha, NE 68138

Chalco Hills Recreation Area is a dog-friendly park with plenty of on-leash walking trails for you and your pup to enjoy together. But there's also a fenced-in dog park space where your canine can run around off-leash near the entrance of the park. It can get muddy, depending on the season. But the trails are paved. And this park does provide restrooms for the humans.

Churchich Park is a 12.6-acre park with a playground, horseshoe pits, walking paths, picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseball fields. Dogs must remain on-leash here, but there's plenty of space to take them for a stroll. And it's the perfect spot to bring the whole family.

And for every $50 you spend at the bar, you get a free dog bath—which normally costs $15! Before you stop by, make sure to read their rules and requirements. They have kiddie pools and artificial turf grass outside, and even an indoor dog-friendly space. The bar offers domestic and local craft beers, wines, hot drinks, cocktails, and mocktails. Standing Bear Lake is a dog-friendly park on a 135-acre lake. Dogs have a designated area where they can run and swim off-leash. And there are on-leash walking paths, so you can stroll around the perimeter of the lake with your pup.

Walnut Creek Lake & Recreation Area — 11601 S 96th St, Papillion, NE 68046

Walnut Creek Lake & Recreation Area is only 12 miles outside of downtown Omaha. It's a dog-friendly beach where your pup can splash and swim in the water. It is partially fenced-in, but not completely. So although your pup is allowed off-leash, make sure they can listen well to your call, so they don't run off. Bathrooms are available for the humans, but there are no water or waste stations for the pups. So make sure to bring your own water and poop bags.

Walnut Grove Park is a dog-friendly park where you can take your pup for a stroll in the sunshine. You do have to keep your dog on-leash here, but there's plenty of grassy green space and paved walking trails.
