W.B. Harrison Park — 1300 S Webb Rd, Wichita, KS 67207

W.B. Harrison Park is a dog-friendly public park named after its donor. This park has plenty of green grass, a fishing pond, a rugby field, a softball diamond, two tennis courts, softly rolling hills, shade trees throughout, two paved parking lots, restrooms, a picnic facility, an outdoor fitness system, a paved 0.75-mile fitness trail for walking, running, and biking, a children's playground, and even a dog park!

This dog park is actually being renovated little by little in stages from Spring 2022 through Spring 2024 to install an irrigation system, plant new grass, create a small dog pen, and rehab the large dog pen.

Chisholm Creek Pet Resort Pup Park — 6260 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219

Chisholm Creek Pet Resort Pup Park is a member-only dog park owned by Chisholm Creek Pet Resort. The dog park has a 3-month membership fee of $150 + tax for up to two dogs (three or more dogs will add an additional fee). Or you can purchase a 1-year membership for $295 + tax (with additional fees for three or more dogs). Be sure to check their website in case prices have changed.

And you can "receive a 10% discount on your pup park membership if you are renewing an annual membership." But if you're not quite ready to purchase a membership, they offer a free one-day pass so you can check it out in person with your pup.

Chisholm Creek Pet Resort Pup Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash 10-acre dog park, "which includes a swimming pond, agility equipment, shade trees, and plenty of room to play fetch any day of the year." And having this exclusive membership provides your pup with a safe dog park experience.

K-9 Rooster Dog Park — 2127 N Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS 67203

K-9 Rooster Dog Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park previously known as Meridian Dog Park. It was renamed in 2017 after Officer Canine Rooster was killed in the line of duty. This park is located on the north side of the Arkansas River and has an eco-friendly parking lot with a permeable paving system. Here, you'll find waste stations, water stations, a double-gated entry, sporadic shade trees, and plenty of room for dogs to run and play.

College Hill Park — 304 Circle Dr, Wichita, KS 67218

College Hill Park may not be exclusively for dogs, but it's incredibly dog-friendly. Nestled in a charming neighborhood, this park offers a picturesque environment for walking your furry friend on a leash. The open grassy areas are perfect for a game of fetch, and there are benches to relax on as your dog plays. The park's community atmosphere makes it a pleasant place for both dogs and owners to socialize.

Murfin Dog Park — 3313 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219

Murfin Dog Park is owned by the Kansas Humane Society. It features three different fenced-in, off-leash dog areas. One section is 1.03 acres, one is 0.95 acres, and one is 0.91 acres in size. This park also provides picnic tables, shade structures, benches, water stations, waste stations, double-gated entries, and a parking lot.

Arson Canine Ashley's Memorial Dog Park — 2400 E MacArthur Rd, Wichita, KS 67216

Arson Canine Ashely's Memorial Dog Park is located within Chapin Park. This 190-acre park provides a 6-foot wide walking trail where your pup can walk with you on leash. Or you can take them into the city's very first dog park. It's a fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park area. "This dog park is named after the first dog brought into the fire department's canine unit in 1994." There are paved parking lots, restrooms, shade structures, water stations, waste stations, and two off-leash enclosures—one that is 15.15 acres for large dogs and one that is 1.19 acres for small dogs.

Pawnee Prairie Park — 2625 S Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67209

Pawnee Prairie Park is a dog-friendly public park with multiple paved parking lots, two large picnic shelters, waste stations throughout the park, wooded natural areas, open grassy fields, a horseback riding trail, plus a 1-mile paved walking trail, as well as 8 miles of unpaved walking trails. All where your pup can walk with you, as long as they remain on a leash.

Naftzger Bark Park — 601 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67202

Naftzger Bark Park is located within Naftzger Park. This dog park is fully fenced-in and is an off-leash area where dogs can run and play to their heart's content on a combination of paved areas and turf grass. There is even an artificial turf grass hill, as well as cement structures that dogs can jump and climb on. You'll also find waste stations, water stations, benches, and street parking here. This dog park is open daily from 6 AM to midnight.

Haysville Dog Park at Dorner Park — 400 W 79th St S, Haysville, KS 67060

Haysville Dog Park at Dorner Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash public dog park with a 1.3-acre section for small dogs (under 45 pounds) to play by themselves and a separate 1.6-acre section for dogs of any size to all play together. There is also a paved parking lot, a hiking and biking path where your pup can walk with you on a leash, benches covered by a shade structure, and year-round restroom access. Plus, there is more than enough grassy space for your dog to run and roam.
