Bay View Dog Park — Corner of E. Lincoln Avenue & S. Bay Street, Bay View, WI 53207
The Bay View Dog Park is a 1-acre, fully fenced-in dog park where pups can run off-leash. They have free waste stations provided, and there is plenty of grassy green space, shade trees, and benches. But make sure to bring your own water. Even though this is one of the smaller dog parks in Milwaukee, one acre is still more than enough room for your pup to run around and blow off some steam.
Cedar Lake Wayside Off-Leash Dog Area — Hwy. NN and County Hwy. Z, West Bend, WI
Cedar Lake Wayside Off-Leash Dog Area is an off-leash dog park with three acres of green space for dogs to run around and play. This park also provides picnic shelters and tables, bathrooms, and barbecue grills. Waste stations and water stations are also provided, but you’ll need to bring your own water bowl.
Keep in mind that this off-leash dog park is not fenced-in, so make sure to stay close to your pup at all times. And the nice part about this dog park being on a lake is that your canine can cool off with a dip in the water, or they can sit by your side while you go fishing. And if they need a little more exploration and adventure—you can both enjoy the hiking trails nearby.
Currie Park — 3535 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53222
Currie Park offers a large, fenced-in dog park with 10 acres for the large dogs and a separate 1.5-acre fenced-in space for small dogs. There’s plenty of grass, benches, trash cans, and waste stations. And you can even enjoy watching the golfers next door, plus the peaceful river that runs through the park. Or take your pooch for a hike along the wooded trails here.
Estabrook Park Dog Park — 4400 N. Estabrook Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53211
Estabrook Park Dog Park is a fully fenced-in 3-acre dog park where pups can be off-leash. There is a more extensive section for the big dogs—or any dog to play with—and a separate smaller area just for the small dogs. You are required to pay for a daily or yearly pass to use this park, and your dog must show proof of vaccinations and a dog license. This park offers picnic pavilions, benches, waste stations, and water stations.
Granville Dog Exercise Area — 11718 W. Good Hope Place, Milwaukee, WI 53224
Granville Dog Exercise Area is a giant off-leash dog park that is 10 acres with tons of grassy space, shade trees, boulders for climbing, hills, woods, creeks, and a river. Your dog can run around with the other pups here, or you can take a hike together on the walking trails. They can even splash and swim in the water to cool off on hot summer days. Dogs are required to show proof of license and vaccination.
Hank Aaron State Trail — 200-298 W Canal St, Milwaukee, WI 53203
Hank Aaron State Trail is not a traditional dog park, but it's a fantastic place to walk your dog. This trail stretches over 12 miles, offering beautiful views of the Menomonee River Valley and downtown Milwaukee. Dogs must be leashed on this trail.
Homestead Howl Dog Park — N120W19809 Freistadt Rd, Village of Germantown, WI 53022
The Homestead Howl Dog Park has 9 acres of fenced-in, off-leash space for your canine to run and play with the other dogs. There is a separate section for small dogs, plus waste stations, walking trails, and benches for the humans. And this park does require a daily or yearly pass fee.
Karen A. Nelson Memorial Dog Park — 3800 Northwestern Ave, Mount Pleasant, WI 53405
Karen A. Nelson Memorial Dog Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park with separate sections for small and large dogs. There are some picnic tables, but food is not allowed at the park. You’ll need to bring your own water, but waste stations are provided. This park has lots of grassy, green space. And it’s completely free to use!
Katherine K. Carpenter Dog Park — 801 W. Zedler Lane, Mequon, WI 53092
Katherine K. Carpenter Dog Park is the perfect spot for more adventurous dogs. This park has 35 acres of wooded space to run, sniff, and hike in. Plus, a beautiful creek where your lucky dog can splash and swim. And don’t forget to check out the special canine agility equipment. Dogs are allowed to run around off-leash here, but it is not fenced-in. So keep a close eye on your pup, and always stay nearby.
Minooka Dog Park — 1927 E. Sunset Drive, Waukesha, WI 53186
Minooka Dog Park is a large, fully fenced-in dog park. It has an 11.9-acre space for large dogs and a separate 3.8-acre space for small dogs. This park has a lot of open, grassy space, as well as paved walking paths and lots of benches. And there’s a large hill, plus lots of wooded areas to sniff and explore. Keep in mind that you will have to pay a daily or yearly pass fee, and dogs must show proof of license and vaccinations.
Mitchell Park Off-Leash Dog Area — 19900 River Road, Brookfield, WI
Mitchell Park Off-Leash Dog Area is a great place for you and your pup to get some exercise together. Your pup can play with the other dogs in the 14-acre fully fenced-in, off-leash area. Or you can go for a stroll together on the designated walking paths. There are plenty of shade trees, hills, grassy spaces, and a creek.
The fenced-in area has a separate space for small dogs, and the park provides bathrooms. But you will need to bring your own waste bags, water, and water bowl. This park doesn’t charge entry fees, but they still require proof of dog license and vaccinations.
Muttland Meadows Dog Park — 2020 S. Green Bay Road, Grafton, WI
Muttland Meadows Dog Park at Lime Kiln Park is a fully fenced-in, off-leash dog park with 6-acres of grassy space, shade trees, hills, and walking trails. Runway Dog Park is Milwaukee’s largest fenced-in dog park. Offering 26 acres of fenced-in, off-leash space for pups to run and play together, plus tons of grass and trees. This park also has a separate fenced-in area for small dogs, walking trails, and canine agility equipment. Runway Dog Park does have a daily or yearly pass fee, and they require proof of your dog’s vaccinations.

Warnimont Park Dog Park is a 5-acre fully fenced-in dog park with separate off-leash areas for small and large dogs. There’s plenty of green space, large shade trees, and water bowls on site.
