But this dog park has canine agility equipment and obstacles that will keep your dog physically and mentally entertained for hours.

Cabezon Park is a beautiful dog-friendly park with 13 acres of lush green grass. Your pup is welcome to roam around with you as long as they remain on-leash. Cottonwood Mall Dog Park — 10000 Coors Bypass NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114

Cottonwood Mall Dog Park is actually a dog park at a mall. "The dog park at Cottonwood features agility courses and areas for small or large dogs in addition to single dog runs." It is located outdoors right near the Homelife Furniture entrance. This dog park provides canine agility equipment, and it has separate sections for small and large dogs.

El Oso Grande Park is a hidden gem in Albuquerque. The park features a large, open space perfect for dogs to run and play. There are also walking trails that wind through the park, making it a great spot for a leisurely walk. The park is well-maintained and features plenty of shaded areas. There are also picnic tables and benches for owners to relax. It's a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for a day out with your dog.

Los Altos Park is another dog-friendly park in Albuquerque. This park offers a skate park, benches, tables, picnic pavilions, and bleachers. It is also right next to Los Altos swimming pool and softball complex. And of course, this park has its very own fenced-in dog park. It is separated into two sections. North Domingo Baca Dog Park is a fully fenced-in, off leash dog park. This park has lights for the evening, and is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm. The ground covering here is wood chips, which is soft and comfortable for dogs to run around on. There's plenty of room at this dog park for all dogs to play together or separately. And there are two separate sections for small and large dogs to have their own space. You will find water stations and waste stations. And a great view of the mountains off in the distance.

Rio Grande Triangle Park — 1451 Kit Carson Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87104

Rio Grande Triangle Park is a fully fenced-in off-leash dog park with shade trees, benches, waste stations, and water stations. There is sand and turf grass as the ground covering. There are sidewalks, so you can take your pup for a stroll around the park. This park is always clean and well-maintained, and there are kiddie pools, so that dogs can splash, drink, and stay cool.

Rio Rancho Sports Complex and Dog Park — 3501 High Resort Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144

Rio Rancho Sports Complex and Dog Park is a great place for the whole family to enjoy together. This sports complex offers quite a bit. It has 78.5 acres, baseball and softball fields, drinking fountains, walking paths, shade structures, playgrounds, a dog park, tennis courts, and picnic tables. Dogs can play around off-leash inside of the fenced-in dog park. But they must remain on-leash throughout the rest of the sports complex.

Rio Vista Park and Dog Park — 1650 Riverside Dr. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144

Rio Vista Park and Dog Park is another great dog park located within a public park. Rio Vista Park offers barbecue grills, picnic tables, a skate park, basketball courts, a children's playground, shade trees, and walking paths. Plus, of course, a dog park! Dogs are free to run around off-leash inside of the fully fenced-in area. But you can also take them for a stroll around the walking paths on-leash.

Skyline Dog Park — 12700 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111

Skyline Dog Park is an off-leash, fully fenced-in dog park that is right at the base of a mountain. Not only will you get to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views, but this park has plenty of parking, comfortable wood chip ground covering, water stations, waste stations, benches, and sometimes there are even leftover doggy toys. This is a great spot to let your pup run around while you take in the views.
