Overnight Sitter

A Leash Above CT is looking to bring on 1-2 individuals as overnight sitters. You must be comfortable staying from 7/8pm until 6/7am in someone else's home and also be able to stop by once or twice in the middle of the day to check on the house/animals. This role currently allows you to say yes or no to the dates you would like to cover. Pay is commission based.

*We use Time to Pet software so you must have a cellphone you can utilize the app on as well as reliable transportation from house to house.

The ideal candidate will:

• Live locally near Marlborough/East Hampton, CT
• Have 1+ years experience caring for and walking dogs
• Have 1+ years experience caring for cats
• Be able to lift 40+ lbs
• Be willing to work with all size dogs (some dogs over 150lbs)
• Be able to walk on all different terrain for more than 20 minutes
• Work in all types of weather (Snow, Freezing Rain, 90 Degree days)
• Be available on very short notice (within 24 hours)
• Have reliable transportation
• Have reliable cellphone service with a quick response time
• Have fantastic customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Love animals

Bonus Qualities:

• Will have a background in an animal based degree or be a current/previous pet sitter
• Have previous experience with farm animals and small caged animals
