What does a pet sitter do?

Pet Sitters take care of pets in the pets' homes; provide food, medicine, interaction, enrichment, exercise, love and all of the necessities to provide care while their pet parents are away. Pet Sitters drive from home to home to care for pets of all kinds in their home. Pet parents may be away on a trip or away for the day.

We offer drop in care: 20-30-45-60 minute visits to our clients.

We are happy to offer flexibility around other obligations like other jobs (add dog walking income as a bit more to your bottom line), school (we encourage continuing education), moms (drop the kids off at school and spend some time with dogs), gig workers, retirees - we are happy to have you join our team here for a rewarding position caregiving for pets.

We are a dedicated team that feels like family. We want to add one or two friendly and responsible people to our pack!

We provide all of your training, support and work supplies.

You will need to have a smart phone with a large amount of data to access the booking and communication software and a reliable mode of personal transportation.

Pet Sitters must be able to walk dogs for 20-40 minutes at a moderate pace several times each day (average 4-10 separate walks each day), have enough strength and balance to manage dogs on leash on uneven sidewalks, grass, etc. Pet Sitters routinely care for litter boxes and feeding stations, so bending and lifting are a must physically.

Our team primarily works alone morning, noon and night, so being comfortable working solo is a must.

Our Pet Sitters work shifts seven days a week from sun up to well past sundown. Working holidays is a must, but additional holiday pay is generous.

Average Pay with Hourly + Mileage Reimbursement + Gratuity:

First 90 Working Days: $14.09 - 17.42 per hour

After 90 Days: $18.11 per hour

Long Term Team Members: $19.64 - 22.00 per hour

*Working Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Weekend, July 4th Day & Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week (including Thanksgiving Day), Christmas Break (including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) are expected of Pet Sitters. Flexibility on holidays is available; additional compensation is provided.
