Job Position: PET CARE PROFESSIONAL
Job Description: We are looking for a fun-loving, go-getter type personality; someone who is willing to go the extra mile when necessary. This job consists of 3 basic duties - Dog Walking, Pet Sitting and Overnight Care.
Location: We are located in California and service Long Beach and surrounding areas
Hiring Qualifications: Capabilities and Experience, Strong Animal Familiarity - Must have proficient knowledge of animal (dog and cat mostly) behavior and some knowledge of species and distinctive characteristics.
- Good Communication Skills - Ability to read, write and speak English fluently, using appropriate grammar and vocabulary. This is a necessity. You must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization - All employees are expected to be orderly and organized and able to retain client information and company policies & procedures.
- Problem Solving Skills - Must be able to translates problems into practical solutions. Must be able to know where to look for available information and act professionally in emergencies.
- Client Service Skills - MOST importantly a prospective employee must be able to ensure the client's happiness with attentive, courteous and informative service. Looking for a person who gets personal satisfaction from delivering great service.
- Time Management/Scheduling - Ability to stay on task and on-time is key to being a good employee. Employees are in charge of their own schedules and are expected to perform.
- Characteristics Initiative and Integrity - Shows willingness to take appropriate steps in providing superior service. - Experience, Education and/or Training - High School Diploma required. Some college courses completed preferred, but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- One to two years related experience preferred. We also train our team extensively.
- Must love and be comfortable with pets of all shapes, breeds, and sizes.
- Must have a reliable vehicle that you can use for work.
- Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance (we provide insurance for you on the job)
- Must have a general knowledge of daily animal care.
- Must be able to lift a dog approximately 45lbs.
- Must be able to perform 2.5 – 5 hours of physical activity.
- Must have an internet connection, AND smartphone.
- Must have a positive mental attitude (PMA).

Payment Structure:
First 30 days: $8 for 15 minutes / $12 for 30 minutes / $15 for 45 minutes / $18 for 60 minutes / $42 for overnight stays
After 30 days: $10 for 15 minutes / $15 for 30 minutes / $18 for 45 minutes / $20 for 60 minutes / $45 for overnight stays
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 / hour
