Locally owned and operated since 2009, Queen City Pet Sitting is a trusted, customer-focused pet-sitting and dog-walking company that treats pets like family. We’re looking for reliable, animal-loving Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters to join our growing team!

Scheduling Needs:

We’re seeking candidates with availability in one or more of the following timeframes:

• Midday Dog Walks (Mon-Fri): At least one full hour of availability between 11 AM - 1:30 PM
• Morning & Evening Pet Visits (Mon-Fri): At least one full hour between 7 AM - 9 AM and 7 PM - 9 PM
• Overnight Stays: Able to stay in a pet’s home for at least 2 consecutive nights (9:30 PM - 7 AM) and provide a midday visit for the same pet

Ideal for individuals who love animals, have flexible availability, and want to make a meaningful impact in pets' lives!

Responsibilities And Duties:

• Provide exceptional care for dogs, cats, and other small pets during walks and pet-sitting visits.
• Represent our company professionally during in-home consultations and pet care assignments.
• Follow assigned schedules and maintain punctuality and reliability.
• Use your smartphone and our scheduling software to manage assignments, update schedules, and communicate with clients before, during, and after services.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

✅ Availability:

For one or more of the following schedules:

• Midday Dog Walks (Mon-Fri)
• Morning & Evening Pet Sitting Visits (Mon-Fri)
• Overnight Stays + 1 midday visit

✅ Technology & Transportation:

• Have a working smartphone (iOS or Android)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable personal transportation

✅ Location:

• Must live in Charlotte within 1 mile of the following zip codes: 28202, 28203, 28204, 28205, 28207, 28208, 28209, 28210, 28211, 28217, 28226, 28270, 28277

✅ Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience caring for dogs (personal or professional)
• Passion for and compassion toward all pets
• Able to comfortably walk and control dogs up to 40 lbs, including walking two dogs at a time
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
• Ability to pass a background check

✅ (Bonus Qualifications – Not Required but Preferred!)

• Comfortable with heavy lifting (e.g., assisting senior or injured pets)
• Available for weekend, evening, and overnight pet sitting for higher earning potential
• (Ideal) Additional availability for morning/evening visits and/or overnight stays (9:30 PM - 7 AM)
