Part Time Pet Care Providers Needed in Winston Salem, NC

Are you a pet lover with a passion for providing top-notch care to furry friends? West End Collars is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dog Walker and Pet Care Specialist. This position offers a guaranteed $15 per hour, with additional mileage reimbursement.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Dog Walking:** Safely walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes.

2. **Pet Sitting:** Provide in-home care for pets, including feeding, playtime, and administering medications if necessary.

3. **Client Communication:** Maintain open and transparent communication with pet owners regarding their pets' well-being and any updates during the service.

4. **Pet Transportation:** Safely transport pets to and from appointments, such as emergency vet visits.

5. **Basic Grooming:** Perform basic grooming tasks, such as brushing and bathing, as needed. (Bathing is rare)

6. **Ensure Safety:** Maintain a keen awareness of surroundings and potential hazards during walks and pet care visits.

7. **Documentation:** Keep detailed records of services provided, including the duration of walks and any noteworthy behaviors or health concerns.

**Requirements:**

1. **Passion for Pets:** A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.

2. **Reliability:** Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.

3. **Physical Fitness:** Ability to walk and handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.

4. **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and with team members.

5. **Flexibility:** Availability to work evenings and weekends is a must.

6. **Valid Driver's License:** A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle for transporting pets.

7. **Background Check:** Successful completion of a background check.
